ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

NEXT LEVEL ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT trains athletes for sport specific / athletic performance. Buying into cutting edge science, not just hard work, keeping up with the current scientific advantages for you individually.

 

Also, keeping balance with my athletes' training at their school or team, to give them the extra work they need based on which part of the season they are currently participating: off-season, in-season, playoffs, summer, etc.

What athletes need is something that can give them power and speed while also growing their body to its potential, injury free. Knowing that everyone will not be an elite athlete, I focus on developing confidence and work ethic that will translate to all aspects of life, striving to create a habit of pursuing excellence.

All too often, injury prevention is overlooked, as sports-related injuries are thought to be unavoidable. In reality, sports-related injuries are largely preventable and significantly reduced through the application of evidence and science based preventive interventions and training.

Fundamentals & strategy, ball handling, shooting
Fundamentals & strategy, positional training (point guards, forwards, centers), first step & moves,  defense, ball handling, passing, shooting, defense, footwork, agility, speed, balance, core, situations and understanding the game.

BASEBALL TRAINING:

Fundamentals, speed, agility, hand eye coordination, throwing mechanics, footwork, batting, pitching, fielding and strategy (based on skill level)

*Specialties: pitching, hitting, throwing & catching mechanics.

**AGILITY, STRENGTH & FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY TRAINING ALSO AVAILABLE**

*PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL CAGE SESSIONS (60' X 15' X 12')

  * MLB Pitching Machine (40-105 mph capability)

   -Fastball, Curveball, Slider, Splitter, Knuckleball

   -Right hand & Left hand curve & slider simulation deliveries!

  * 8" Pitching Mound

ONE ON ONE TRAINING SESSION:

1/2 hour session ($38) / hour session ($75)

* CAGE RENTAL:

1/2 hour session ($20) / 1 hour session ($40)

*includes: cage, pitching mound, protective screens, tees and baseballs

* CAGE & PITCHING MACHINE RENTAL:

1/2 hour session ($30) / 1 hour session ($60)

(*NLFAD staff ONLY runs pitching machine, no professional instruction included)

                                        SPORTS CAMPS:

 

Agility, coordination, footwork, foot speed, hand-eye/eye-foot coordination, flexibility, work ethic within a small group setting.

 

Repetition is key to fundamental athletic development, working game situational drills.

 

Injury prevention, strength, core development, reduction of injury, balance, joint stabilization.

 

Sports, activities, programs, games, social interaction all help us grow. NLFAD offers youth programs with organized structure, duration and intensity, all focused on skill development in a fun setting so kids can continue to develop and be kids. We also offer more focused and disciplined camps for above average to elite athletes.

 

We teach the fundamentals and foster developing teamwork, confidence and appreciation for staying active. NLFAD’s game and conditioning program combines movements to challenge and develop balance, flexibility, coordination, agility, strength, power and improve health and well being.
